Thayer’s Fall Festival Is Happening This Saturday, October 14th!

Thayer, Missouri’s, fall festival is happening on Saturday, October 14, 2023, between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Lots of family-friendly activities are planned for the afternoon.

Car Show

A new activity for this year’s fall festival is a car show. Check-in is at 2:00 pm, with the car show beginning at 3:00 pm. [1] This will be in downtown Thayer.

Other Activities

There will be a variety of vendors, including craft and food ones. Kids activities will also be at the fall festival, including a bounce house, car bash, Kiddie Korral Train Rides, and more. Music from the Highway W Band and [2]Molly Corman will also be played throughout the afternoon.

Pumpkin Carving

A pumpkin carving contest will also occur at Thayer’s Fall Festival. Sign-up for the contest will be from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm, with the contest beginning at 5:45 pm. Judging will be at 6:45 pm at Second Street and Chestnut. For 6-10 year olds, they have to decorate the pumpkin, while kids 11 and up have to carve the pumpkin. Prizes will be awarded in both categories: first place will receive $20, second place will receive $10, and third place will receive $5. [3]
