Seven Leap Year Activities For February 29th

2024 is a leap year. To celebrate this once0in-four-years event, here are seven activities to do on February 29, 2024, for the leap year.

#1 Photo Shoot

Get a shoe box or a time capsule and put things in it for you to open at the next leap year. ^[3] You can put a letter in, pictures, things important in your lifetime right now, and anything else you can think of. Open the time capsule on the next leap year.

#4 Write A Letter

Another way to celebrate leap year is by writing a letter either to yourself or to a friend. ^[4] Write down important things that are happening in your life, your friends, and anything else. Seal it up and place it somewhere where you can read it in four years (don’t forget where it is!).

#5 Life Goals

A lot can happen in four years. Make a list of short- and long-term goals. ^[5] They can be personal, financial, or professional- or all three! You can include ways to get to your goals as well.

#6 A Party

You can host a leap year themed party on February 29th. ^[6] You can have a full meal or just appetizers. The party can be more formal or it can include leap year activities to do.
