On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will turn 250 years old. However, July 4, 2025, marked the start of the year-long celebration. Although it is early in the celebration year, several places are hosting celebrations and historical events. And now, patriotic red, white, and blue attire is being sold.
Who Is Celebrating?
All of the United States can celebrate this milestone. Governor Kehoe announced Show-Me America 250, a statewide initiative honoring the people, stories, and spirit that define our nation. Some states are highlighting their museums. You can look here to see the country’s calendar of events.
Towns across America are planning parades, historical speeches, reenactments, and huge fireworks displays. Most communities need plenty of time to make this a memorable occasion,

Now America 250 has announced that it is selling attire for this event. Red, white, and blue shirts, hats, and long-sleeved shirts have been especially designed for this event.
Other Ideas
Other places are also selling merchandise. Amazon is selling color books, pins, and yard signs, among other things. Individual museums are also selling tourist merchandise, like magnets.
One can show their support of our birthday by flying the American flag and teaching their children patriotic songs. Take time to plan how you will impress upon your children and grandchildren the significance of our country and its God-touched beginnings.
