This is called the Gulf of America Act, as it codifies President Trump’s Executive Order to permanently rename the area formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. Smith voted yes, and it did pass.
H.R. 1503
This act stopped organ harvesting. It creates new mandatory sanctions on those involved in forced organ trafficking. It did pass, and Smith voted in favor.
H. Con. Res. 30
This resolution expresses support for local law enforcement officers. This was agreed to, and Smith did vote in favor.
H.R. 2243
This resolution allows law enforcement officers to conceal carry firearms and ammunition in school zones, national parks, federal facilities, and other public property. Smith voted in favor, and it did pass.
H.R. 2240
This resolution requires the DOJ to report on targeted attacks on law enforcement officers. It did pass, and Smith voted in favor.
