The Kendrick brothers are two brothers from Georgia who are using what they know to impact the world for good through media presentations. Each of the movies produced so far has defining Biblical messages and has been released by Sony. However, this next movie, Lifemark, was rejected by the Hollywood media centers. Nevertheless, Kendrick Brothers have partnered with Fathom Events to put this movie into the public’s eyes.

Lifemark

The newest film is scheduled for a release date of September 9, 2022. While not having abortion as the underlining theme of the movie, Lifemark does address the choices a woman faces with an unexpected pregnancy. Because of the pro=life stance in the movie, neither Sony nor any other Hollywood studio wanted to release this movie [1]. This is where the Kendrick Brothers aligned themselves with Fathom Events, with limited- engagement between theater chains AMC, Cinemark, and Regal.

Past Movies

Hollywood may be missing out, based on past attendances. The Kendrick Brothers has produced such films as Fireproof, Courageous, Overcomer, Like Arrows, and War Room. The films have all become box office hits, crossing the globe. Several have supporting devotionals and manuals. Many of the films have won awards, besides topping the box office charts [2].

Film Supporters

This film industry began at the Kendrick Brothers’ own church: Sherwood Baptist. Moving on to Fireproof, they enlisted 1,200 volunteers. Another set of brothers has separated from the Kendrick Brothers to form even more films. They are the Erwins.

Kendrick Brothers Films

The films they produce are all family-friendly. The actors show no nudity, unnatural behaviors, or swearing. They are movies the entire family can watch together.
