AFC Wins 2020 Pro Bowl at Camping World Stadium

Orlando, FL. – The National Football League season is ending with just one more game left, which is Super Bowl LIV, the 2020 Pro Bowl took place on January 26, 2020. The AFC, American Football Conference, won over the NFC, National Football Conference, 38-33. Reasonable know, the Super Bowl team players do not play in the Pro Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are the Super Bowl teams.

The First Half

Drew Brees, the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, started as quarterback for the NFC, to begin the game. Russel Wilson, the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, who was formerly the starter quarterback, gave it up to Brees. The first drive for the NFC ended up as nothing. The AFC took the field with Lamar Jackson, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, starting as the quarterback. That drive was intercepted by Budda Baker, from the Arizona Cardinals, in the endzone. On the NFC’s next drive, Brees had an impressive pass to Kenny Golladay, from the Detroit Lions, for 59 yards. The drive ended up as a touchdown for the NFC. Brees threw it to fellow teammate Michael Thomas for the score. They also got the extra point.

The AFC came back and got a touchdown from Andre Roberts, from the Buffalo Bills. The game was now tied 7-7. Russel Wilson came in a quarterback for the NFC. He threw a touchdown pass to Amari Cooper, from the Dallas Cowboys; the NFC also got the extra points. The AFC once again matched it with a touchdown from Mark Andrews. It was once again tied. When the NFC got the ball back, they did a trick play. Russel Wilson threw the ball to a receiver, and the receiver threw it a reasonable distance down the field to a waiting receiver. But the NFC got no points. Deshaun Watson, from the Houston Texans, came in as quarterback for the AFC. He threw a touchdown pass to Jack Doyle. The score was now 21-14 with the AFC in the lead. The AFC got a 3-point field goal before the first half ended. The score was 24-14.

The Second Half

The NFC came roaring back and got an interception from Harrison Smith, from the Minnesota Vikings, who ran down the field some then when about to be pushed out of bounds, threw, or chucked it to Fletcher Cox who ran the rest of the way to the endzone for the touchdown. The AFC got nothing. Kirk Cousins, from the Minnesota Vikings, was now in as quarterback for the NFC. He threw a touchdown pass to Davante Adams, from the Green Bay Packers. The field goal was blocked; the score was now 27-24 with the NFC in the lead. Ryan Tannehill, from the Tennessee Titans, came in as quarterback for the AFC. The AFC managed to get another touchdown. This one from DJ Chark, they also got the extra field goal. The score was now 31-27 with the AFC in the lead.

After those touchdowns, there were two interceptions from both teams, and both ended up as nothing. The NFC quarterback, Kirk Cousins, fumbled the ball and an AFC player, T.J. Watt, from the Pittsburgh Steelers, grabbed the ball and ran for an 82-yard touchdown run. The score was now 38-27. The last points in the game were from the NFC Devante Adams, who got a touchdown. They tried for a two-point conversion but failed to get it. The NFC also tried the replacement for the onside kick. Wher you’re fourth and fifteen at your own 25. If you get a first down; you keep the ball. If you don’t, it will go to the other team. It failed, and the AFC intercepted it. The final score was 38-33, with the AFC winning.

Quarterbacks

For the NFC, Drew Brees completed 4 of 7, threw for 95 yards, and threw for one touchdown. Russel Wilson finished 5 of 11, threw for 78 yards, and threw for one touchdown. Kirk Cousins completed 13 of 22, threw for 181 yards, threw two touchdowns, and had one interception. For the AFC, Lamar Jackson finished 16 of 23, threw for 185 yards, threw for two touchdowns, and one interception. He also had two carries for 6 yards. Deshaun Watson completed 14 of 20, threw for 148 yards, threw for one touchdown, and one interception. And lastly, Ryan Tannehill finished 1 of 2, threw for 60 yards, threw for one touchdown, and one interception. Tannehill also had five carries for -6 yards.

Lamar Jackson got the offensive player MVP award, and Calais Campbell, from the Jacksonville Jaguars, got the defensive player MVP award for the 2020 Pro Bowl.
