Basketball season is right around the corner. With basketball comes cheerleading. The Alton, Missouri, Comets are getting ready for it with cheer tryouts from October 10th through 12th.
Where and When
The tryouts will be in the High School cafeteria from Tuesday, October 10, 2023, through Thursday, October 12, 2023, between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm. [1]
Who Can Do It
Any students from ninth through twelfth grade can try out. Students must also be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
What to Wear
Students trying out must wear athletic clothing and tennis shoes. High schoolers must also have their hair pulled back and must have any jewelry of any kind.
