Alton, Mo. – AltonMo.com brings to you a weekly update of what happened around the state of Missouri. Three things talked about was being bear aware, the photo ID law, and the National Day of Prayer.

Bear Aware

One thing talked about in the video was being bear aware. The Missouri Department Conservation said that bears are coming out of hibernation. With them coming out, people need to keep their eyes open. You can read the article here.

Photo ID Law

On May 17, 2022, after SB-631 passed in both the House and the Senate, Governor Parson signed it into a law. SB-631 requires photo ID to vote. Check out the full article here.

National Day of Prayer

While the National Day of Prayer did not happen last week but at the beginning of the month, it is should be such an important part of our life, that it is included in the video. The National Day of Prayer happened on May 5, 2022. As 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” Read more about the day here.
