Thayer, Mo. – The American Red Cross came to Thayer, Missouri, to hold a blood drive. The blood drive was a big success, as many people were willing to give their blood.
Where and When
The blood drive was held in Thayer, Missouri, at the Christian Activity Center of the First Baptist Church. The drive started at 2:00 pm and ended at 6:00 pm. [1]
Many Donors
Throughout the blood drive, people were waiting to give their blood. People had to wait extra time because so many people were willing to give their blood to help others.
Snacks and Shirts
Blood donors could grab some juice, water, and some crackers after they gave their blood. The volunteers could also grab a red long sleeve shirt to wear.
Although they didn’t require it ahead of time, appointments were helpful.
