In the midst of concern and warnings from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and other authorities of a stronger wave of COVID-19 hitting Americans this fall, President Trump says that the country will not shut down again.

We are going to put out the fires. We’re not going to close the country. We can put out the fires.” President Trump. [1]

What About This Fall?

Health experts say that the risk of a second wave of this virus is high, probably coming when the flu season begins. Experts say that it could overwhelm the health-care industry.  Expressing confidence at a Ford plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, President Trump said that any flare-ups of this disease will be contained. As a leader, he goes around frequently without a mask, trying to bring America up to speed in the economy and morale. Currently, the Ford plant is making ventilators in their fight to help Americans.

Shut-Down Effects

The shut-down which began in March of this year has cost millions of Americans their jobs, credit, and even their health. Citizens are tired of staying at home, trying to rely on the government to meet their needs. Anyone who sees the news knows of rebellions taking place across the nation of people trying to take control of their lives. Americans look for hope and President Trump is trying to give them it by offering a stable environment to live and work.
