Alton, Mo. – On Sunday, November 24, Alton will be holding its annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Alton Elementary multi-purpose building; everyone is invited to enjoy food, fellowship, and live music.

Happy Holidays

Thanksgiving is often shoved aside in favor of Halloween and Christmas, but Thanksgiving is the time of year where we get together to appreciate our bountiful harvest and the blessings we have been given. This is a time of year to be thankful for your family and friends. Thanksgiving is a great time to share what you have with others who aren’t as fortunate as you are. This year, as Alton has done for the past several years, Alton will be holding its Community Thanksgiving dinner, where everyone is invited to come and enjoy some food.

Thanksgiving Dinner

At 5 p.m. on November 24, just a few days before Thanksgiving, Alton, Missouri, will be holding its annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Alton Elementary multi-purpose building across from the Alton High School. The Howell Family will be providing live music for the evening, and there will be plenty of turkeys, potatoes, pie, and people to make this Sunday a good start to the Christmas season.

The Thanksgiving Dinner will be sponsored by the Alton Ministerial Alliance; we would like to thank them for making this community dinner possible.
