The National Religious Broadcasters met last week in Nashville, Tennessee. Former President Donald Trump addressed the packed-out crowd.

If elected, Trump said he would

create a new federal task force on fighting anti-Christian bias. … Its mission will be to investigate all forms of illegal discrimination, harassment, and persecution against Christians in America [1].

Trump went on to warn of the radical left that wants to tear down crosses. He promised that would not happen under his administration.

TRUMP said,

No one will be touching the cross of Christ under the Trump administration. I swear to you that will never happen. Never happen [2].

Trump pictured evangelical Christians as a persecuted group under President Joe Biden’s administration. Although Trump admitted that he wasn’t a very good Christian and didn’t know much about the Bible, he told the attendees that he shared their faith and would always stand up for God.

Conference attendees stood in long lines as they waited to be screened by the Secret Service and security personnel before being admitted to the ballroom. When he entered the stage, he was met with a standing ovation. However, his loudest applause came when he

promised to promote school vouchers, seal the United States’ Southern border and prevent transgender men from participating in women’s sports [3].

Trump did admit that our greatest enemies are from within our country, not without.
