The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center menu and activities are out for the month of May of 2022. If you’re a senior or you just want to hang out with each other, take a look.
Yummy Food Items
To start off the month on the third of May, open face beef, creamy mashed potatoes, brown gravy, green beans, and flamingo cake will be served. If you’re looking for a breakfast lunch, come and eat on May 5th for some scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and spiced pears. For pasta lovers, creamy chicken Alfredo, fresh tossed salad, broccoli, garlic bread, and chocolate chip cookies will be served on May 10th. On May 16th, a delicious meal of sloppy joes, tator bucks, Chinese coleslaw, and Paul Newman cake will be dished out. Nearing the end of the month on the 27th, barbecue rib sandwich, chips, broccoli salad, and apple pie bars will be served.
Join In On The Activities
On Thursday, May 5th, you don’t have to change! May 5th is pajama day at the Senior Center. The next day, May 6th, you can get some reps in and exercise with Kathy. On May 12th and 13th, a pen pal club where you can write to other seniors across the state and a first-come first-serve toenail clinic will be held at 10:00 am respectively. If you want a good drink, swing by the senior center on May 25th for frappes with Whitney at 10:30 am. A day you won’t want to miss is Picnic In The Parking Lot from 11:00 am to noon on May 31st.
Closed Day
The Alton Senior Center will be closed on May 30, 2022, for Memorial Day so stock up on food for that day.
