MSU-West Plains is planning on celebrating National PI Day. PI is a mathematical constant of 3.14159… Each year it falls on March 14 (3/14). The public is invited to participate in fun and games. Homeschoolers are especially invited. One need not be in high school or even know what PI is to attend.

Where Is This Happening?

MSU-West Plains is hosting the event. This will take place in Gohn Hall on campus. It will be on the first floor. That address is 603 W. Main Street in West Plains.

When Is This?

This fun takes place on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. It is only between 10:00 am and 11:00 am.

Who Can Attend?

This is open to everyone on campus, with a special invitation to homeschool students. They say to simply ‘drop in.’ No registration required.

What Is Happening?

At this event, people will learn many things about this important mathematical constant, compete in various Pi-themed contests, and enjoy a cookie or a piece of pie, as long as supplies last.

This looks to be a fun, memorable way to instill the meaning of PI into our everyday lives.
